Executive Integrated Producer

With over 20 years of experience in production, I can produce just about anything. My career began as a toddler buying craft service with my mom who paved the way for my production career. I worked my way up to being an extra in "True Lies" to then being an office coordinator on "G.I. Jane". My next stop was in the locations department on films like "Species 2" and TV shows like "West Wing". In between TV and film I worked live concerts, I spent my time backstage at festivals and I even sold t-shirts at Woodstock (the 2nd one not the first unfortunately).
My pivot to advertising agency producing was a new adventure. Learning the bidding and post process had me fall in love with production all over again. I was lucky enough to start my advertising production career at the Martin Agency working on clients like GEICO, Hanes, and Miller Brewing to name a few. I traveled the world and won a Lion, to say I was hooked is an understatement.
My producing career then took me to Boston and then to NYC where I freelanced for many years. I was able to produce all types of content from so many agencies it's been hard to keep track! Another pivot and I moved back to Richmond, VA where I took on the role of wife and mother to 3 boys, 2 of which are twins... I told you I can produce just about anything. I needed a break from traveling and wanted to enjoy being mom so I pivoted once again to production advising aka cost consulting. This new role taught me even more about production but this time I had line of sight into how brands and marketers think. I learned about the business side of producing and loved it. But that pull to producing is hard to resist and so once again I pivoted back to agency producing but this time as EP where I was able to manage teams and help guide producers as they were learning the ropes.
Slight pivot to becoming VP/EP for a production company based in Richmond, VA. Sinking my teeth into EP-ing productions from yet another side, learning sales and finding new directors has become a passion of mine and I'm glad to have had this experience. But the pull of agency producing is a strong one, currently I am freelance producing and production consulting. It's nice to have the mix of both and I never know what that next pivot might be.
